With a story-first approach to Films, Web Series and soon comic books, BGil Studios has shown how determined they are to become the next big thing in the world of the Superhero Genre. BGil’s now classic characters – DRAGONFLY, BLURR, BREANNA JAMESON, MATTHEW DAWSON, SPARROW, OKAMI and dozens more – became a pivotal force in the superhero fandom, aiming to reshape the landscape of the Superhero genre in the film industry, by creating what would eventually grow to become the largest and best-selling independent universe in film and series and soon comics.

In 2013, the very first film from BGil Studios in what is considered in-house as the “CONCEPT ERA” was released in INFERNO: DARKNESS RISING was the start of the official first wave of projects that brought the BGIL Universe to life. Introducing the character of Matthew Dawson and the Big Bad of the BGilverse RILIK. Six years later, BGil Studio’s character-first philosophy and dedication to story above all else came to fruition in a climatic team up film titled THE PROTECTORS (2019), that continued the stories of DRAGONFLY, GRANT BOURNE, BREANNA JAMESON & MATTHEW DAWSON who all had their own solo films that lead up to this final project in the first Phase of the BGilverse. The New Phase of projects began in the first quarter of 2020 with THE DRAGONFLY (2020), that told a new interation of a classic character that started a whole new timeline of stories and iterations of existing characters to be brought to life.

In 2022, BGil Studios continued to forge new characters and new iterations of existing characters, as the very successful 4-part mini series SPARROW received massive love and awareness as Bryce Gilman (Creator, CEO, Owner, Director, Writer) along with the show’s star Jessica Blakely (Alyson Siphor/Sparrow) were guests on the Auroa, IL based Radio morning show 95.5 The River with Scott McKay. That same year, production began filming on the follow up KNIGHT WOLF: THE DIVINE PROTECTOR starring Alen Rios returning as Delsin Drake/Okami and Jessica Blakely reprising her role as Alyson Siphor, and introducing Vivian Lee as Breanna Monroe, and Anthony Louis as James Sylas amongst many more which was later released in the beginning of June 2023. And in Q4 of 2024, BGil Studios began the production of the next film of the PROTECTORS Universe, with THE DRAGONFLY: DARK PROTECTOR which picks up where 2023’s KNIGHTWOLF: THE DIVINE PROTECTOR climactic finale, that set forth a the new era of storytelling and will see our heroes having to pick up the pieces that the evil RILIK in his Divine Body shattered, and was released in Q2 of 2025 on May 30th, 2025 and Stars Erik Khamphouy as Nathan Rider/The Dragonfly. And in later half of Q2, Bryce Gilman was on the YouTube Podcast show”The Cultured Nerd” where he talked about the BGilverse where it stands and where he sees it going in the future.
